Shhh...he's in the Basement

The ex that is. He is setting up this humongous TV/computer monitor that my sis purchased as a wedding gift surprise for her groom. They are in Jamaica BTW. I am stuck with dog duty and the ex. I realize I really do not want to necessarily be in the same room with him because the pain is still palatable. I could go down and seduce the man. But that is not what I want. I also know that if I do not spend time with him, then he will never really get to see the real me. That was my biggest complaint about the whole relationship. He never even gave us a chance to really get to know one another aside from the friendship we had from the past.

Catching Up

I went searching today for old friends. Found three and reconnected. It was a very sucessful endeavor. I am glad to see they are doing well. I got to meet several new offspring and one new spouse. Regrettably seeing the families they have created, along with my sisters excitement on her pending nupitals, has made me extremely lonely this evening. At least I do have my twelve year old cat to keep my bed warm. Trying unsuccessfully to look on the bright side.

Officially a Bum

It is over. I no longer work for that large telecommunications company. I am officially unemployed. I am free of the corporate environment. I am free of that pesky income. Oh no...I don't have a job. Yikes!!

Auntie Again?!?

So little Alexander made his way into the world last Wednesday. No one...even his father...knew he was on the way. That is except his mother. Yes...they are married and living together. Once again my brother has proven to be unobservant. I worry. I am an auntie. That's what I do. I now have two nephews to spoil.

I have decided my life has turned into a soap opera. I expect my evil twin to show up at any moment.
