Hurts So Good

Been working out the past two weeks. Yes..I have been there done that before. I am hoping I can keep it up this time. I would like to slim down, but more than that I would like to be healthy. I have a friend who is letting me tag along to her gym. She pays extra to bring anyone she wants with her at any time. Her goal was that her boyfriend would go. I am reaping the benefits. I did offer to help her by paying the extra 10 bucks a month, but she declined. Here's to the muscles that hurt and the ones that will hurt.

iSsues

So I have the lovely new iPod Nano. My best friend insists is launching nano computers into my brain to turn me into an automaton at the will of Apple. I could be so lucky! Anyways, the lovely iPod is not functioning properly. It will begin a song, play anywhere from a few seconds to a minute+ , stop, and then skip to the next song. Not every song, but it consistently truncates the same songs. I have even queried the Mac Genius who purchased it for me. Yes...he is a real Mac Genius and is even head of the department at the Apple store just outside Century City in Los Angeles. He is my big brother. I restored the original options and downloaded my music again. Still doesn't work correctly. So my only option is to venture into cyberspace for the answer...... wish me luck.

Not So New Year's Resolutions OR Take Your Vitamins!

I have given into the New Year's resolution bandwagon. I have been beaten down and assimilated by a friend. Actually she was quite inspiring. So here goes! I will attempt to take my vitamins every day. Since I have not been employed on a regular basis, I no longer have a schedule for my days. Vitamins used to be taken in the morning after my breakfast. I have to take them with food as the minerals in them make me ill otherwise. I will start exercising on a regular basis. The same said friend has a gym membership which allows unlimited guests. So not only will I be going to the gym, I will have a partner to help motivate one another. Next are the ongoing normal resolutions...nothing new...nothing original...just the regular I want to change daily stuff. Get a job! That should be obvious. I have a promising lead through a new acquaintance. Keep everything crossed. Get a boyfriend. I need to quit finding reasons not to date a perfectly nice guy. If there is a spark, I need to let it run it's course to see what might happen. Quit being such the chicken. Buy a house. Of course this hinges greatly upon finding a job. There...I think that is everything. Of course I can always change my mind and add or delete any or all said resolutions at any time.
