Quitting is Becoming a Habit

I quit my temporary job Friday night. Worst part is that the company I was working at has not a clue I have done this yet. See a great opportunity came up at about 530PM on Friday night. I cannot pass it over. It could lead to a permanent full time job with benefits. I start first thing on Monday. I tried to call the temporary agency to let them know. Any other night the office is staffed until 6PM, but not that night. I have left them a message. I will call again in the morning. I feel bad and yet I don't feel bad. A friend quickly pointed out to me; employees usually give employers a two week notice, but if the situation is reversed there is usually no notice. Hope there isn't too much fallout.

20 years ago....

I graduated from high school. In some ways, it seems like yesterday; in others, it seems like it happened to someone else. I guess I was someone else back then. I am more outgoing and have more self confidence today than I ever did in high school. I decided to attend the reunion. Not sure I really want to go, but several people would like me there. I am going for them as much as myself. The whole experience makes you reflect on your life: where you are, where you have been, ....................where am I going?
