Oh the agony! I was hoping for "let's get together ASAP".

I'd let the brother know you'd like to get together and you wouldn't mind him mentioning that to sparks guy and giving out your # if he was interested.
I don't think you'd sound stalker-like. Besides, at least you'd find out the answer to the 'what if?' angst, rather than fretting indefinitely.
