Zero to 60

I have so much going on right now. And at the same time so little.... There are several times over the past few weeks I have wanted to post but did not have the time or energy. The process can so cathartic as so many other bloggers can attest to. So to all the unentered posts in my head... *please stop swirling!*

Where to start? Guess it was on the 15th (happy birthday Dave). I had a telephone interview with an insurance company in Chattanooga. I gave the pat answers, repeated myself and generally felt had blown the interview. Once I was off the phone, my sister announced to everyone that she and her fiance had set a date. They will be getting married at the end of May. She then proceeded on the dress hunt with me in tow. Don't get me wrong...I enjoy shopping. It was several days of dress hunting. It ate up two weekends including the day of my own birth. (oh happy birthday to me...see pics) And I am happy to say she has ordered a beautiful dress. On the 20th, I got a call back from the ins co requesting a second interview. They graciously agreed to do this over the phone also. The second pending interview is this coming Monday. The 22nd saw two men, lots of carpet and 9.5 hrs of my sister and myself trapped in the kitchen with all the downstairs furniture. The new carpet looks great throughout the house, but I thought they would never leave! Yesterday I got a call from a former associate. I had called an old boss back on the 14th for a reference and he wanted my resume. I sent it along and it produced this call. I would love to get this second job working back in the bank environment in the IT department, but they are unsure if they can afford me. Chattanooga TN is a repressed area and no one is willing to pay good wages. I am not talking exorbitant amounts. But I would like to be able to afford to purchase my own home again in the North Chatt area.

Today I am cruising the internet, putting my bedroom back together, preparing for the interview, preparing for a home show and I have a date tonight.

Is there a pause button for life?
